Take Over WP-Cron using WordPress Toolkit

This guide will explain how to enable WordPress Toolkit to take over wp-cron, this helps reduce the number of admin-ajax requests and can help reduce the load on the server

TL;DR Taking over wp-cron can be done via cPanel > WordPress Toolkit > Take Over WP-Cron

How to take over wp-cron using cPanels WordPress Toolkit

Step-by-Step Guide

1/ Search for WordPress Toolkit

In cPanel search for ‘WordPress Toolkit’ in the top right search bar and click on WordPress Toolkit from the search results

2/ Click Take Over WP-Cron

Inside the WordPress Toolkit interface in the Dashboard tab, click on the switch to take over wp-cron

3/ WP-Cron taken Over

WP-Cron will now be controlled by WordPress Toolkit
