This guide will explain how to scan a cPanel account for WordPress sites and add them into WordPress Toolkit. WordPress Toolkit allows for managing a sites updates, themes and plugins
TL;DR A cPanel can be scanned for WordPress sites via cPanel > WordPress Toolkit > Scan
Requirements
To complete this will require having a cPanel account with a WordPress site installed, if WordPress Toolkit cannot find a WordPress website and there is a WordPress site inside the cPanel account then there may be a .wp-toolkit-ignore file inside the document root of the website preventing WordPress Toolkit finding the site
How to scan cPanel for a WordPress site using WordPress Toolkit
Step-by-Step Guide
1/ Search for WordPress Toolkit
In cPanel search for ‘WordPress Toolkit’ in the top right search bar and click on WordPress Toolkit from the search results
2/ Click Scan
Inside the WordPress Toolkit interface click on the Scan button
3/ Scanning for sites
cPanel will now scan for WordPress sites inside the cPanel account
4/ Site Added
All WordPress sites inside the cPanel account should now be showing inside the WordPress Toolkit interface
