This guide will explain how to enable maintenance mode in cPanels WordPress Toolkit, this will prevent traffic from accessing a site and is often used when updating e-commerce sites to prevent orders being lost

How to enable maintenance mode using cPanels WordPress Toolkit
Step-by-Step Guide
1/ Search for WordPress Toolkit
In cPanel search for ‘WordPress Toolkit’ in the top right search bar and click on WordPress Toolkit from the search results
2/ Click Maintenance Mode
Inside the WordPress Toolkit interface in the Dashboard tab, click on the switch to enable maintenance mode
3/ Maintenance Mode Enabled
Maintenance mode will now be showing as enabled in WordPress Toolkit
