Enable Hotlink Protection using WordPress Toolkit

This guide will explain how to enable hotlink protection in cPanels WordPress Toolkit, this can prevent other sites using bandwidth by linking to images and assets on a site

TL;DR Hotlink protection can be enabled via cPanel > WordPress Toolkit > Enable Hotlink Protection

How to enable hotlink protection using cPanels WordPress Toolkit

Step-by-Step Guide

1/ Search for WordPress Toolkit

In cPanel search for ‘WordPress Toolkit’ in the top right search bar and click on WordPress Toolkit from the search results

2/ Click Enable Hotlink Protection

Inside the WordPress Toolkit interface in the Dashboard tab, click on the switch to enable hotlink protection

3/ Hotlink Protection Enabled

Hotlink protection will now be showing as enabled in WordPress Toolkit
